Legastelois, seated figure of La République holding a sprig of oak over the rays of a rising sun, rev. oak wreath and open book, 63mm (PBE –; BDM III, 373; cf. DNW 49, 906); Aux Armes, 1907, a bronze award medal by P.-A. Morlon, female figure in armour personifying France left, in Gallic helmet, rev. branches of oak, tablet in centre, 63mm (CGMP p.269; BDM VIII, 78; Frankenhuis 238; V & A Exh. Cat. 1998, 33; cf. DNW 54, 857); Les Aveugles de Guerre, c.1915, a uniface bronze plaque by C. Carry, two wounded soldiers, one blinded, help each other, 80 x 57mm [3]. Very fine and better (£80-120)
