United States of America, Washington Halfpenny, 1791, bust left, washington president, date below, rev. ship right, liverpool halfpenny, edge payable in anglesey london or liverpool (Baker 17; Durst 332; DH Middlesex 116). Some spotting on obverse, underlying wear, otherwise very fine with original colour, extremely rare, most certainly one of the finest known (£1,000-1,500)
