Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Pound of Twenty Shillings, mm. lion and tun on obv., tun on rev., crowned bust left, wearing ruff and ornate dress, rev. crowned square topped shield between er, double annulet stops, 11.23g/4h (Brown/Comber F3; SCBI Schneider 797, same dies; N 2008: S 2534). Some hairline scratches but extremely fine, the double mark very rare, especially in this state of preservation (£4,000-5,000)
