British War and Victory Medals (2.Lieut.); 1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals, with M.I.D. oakleaf emblem, mounted as worn, together with a companion set of miniatures, various L.F. buttons and badges; and a pair to his wife Mrs Audrey Oxenford (née Ward) comprising War Medal 1939-45 and Women’s Voluntary Service Medal with bar ‘Long Service’, both unnamed as issued but accompanied by three Red Cross Proficiency medals, variously named and in card boxes, and her B.R.C.S. Certificate of Enrolment, very fine or better (11) £200-250

Audrey Oxenford was the younger daughter of Captain A. C. Ward, Lancashire Fusiliers, killed in action in August 1914 (See Lot 344 & 515)
