Sergeant Frederick George Le Prevost a native of Guernsey was a pre war regular soldier who had enlisted at the age of seventeen. He first entered France on 22 August 1914 with the 1st battalion Devon Regiment and was slightly wounded in the early part of 1915. He died at the Military Hospital at Fort George, Guernsey as a result of broncho-pneumonia on 18 February 1919 at the age of 26. Sold with copied local press reports regarding his death including a photograph of him in uniform.
