Captain Philip Arthur Edwards, 1st battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment was killed in action France and Flanders 18 March 1916, He is buried at Maroc British Cemetery, Grenay France. An obituary and photograph of Edwards appears in Volume I of Ruvigny’s Roll of Honour.
