Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, S.A. 1901 (Lieut. W. N. Bazley, Imp. Yeo.) nearly extremely fine £100-120

Walter Neville Bazley served in the ranks Imperial Yeomanry, 77th Company (Manchester), during the Boer War and was commissioned in January 1901. During the Great War he served as a Captain with the 1/6th battalion, Manchester Regiment, and was mortally wounded in Gallipoli on 21 May, 1915, dying two days later. He was buried in the Lancashire Landings Cemetery, Gallipoli.
