Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (E. Eastabrook, Dom. 1 Cl., H.M.S. Defiance.) impressed naming, extremely fine £70-£90

Edwin Eastabrook was born at Devonport, Devon, on 15 January 1858, and joined the Navy as a Domestic 3rd Class aboard H.M.S. Defence on 26 February 1876. He was advanced to Domestic 2nd Class in Tenedos in October 1879, and to Domestic 1st Class in Undaunted in November 1890, serving subsequently in Shannon, Aurora, Edinburgh, Galatea and Defiance, which ship he joined in November 1895. He received his L.S. & G.C. medal on 9 February 1897 and was shore pensioned from Defiance on 31 May 1901.
