George Frederick Wheeler was the husband of Winifred Wheeler, of 19 Danesbury Road, Feltham, Middlesex. He served during the Great War with the Middlesex Regiment in the Egyptian theatre of war from 30 August 1915. Private Wheeler was killed in action whilst serving with the 2/10th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment in the Egyptian theatre of war 6 November 1917. He is buried in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Israel.
