Stanley Baldwin was the son of Mrs A. Baldwin of 19 Chester Street, Gorton, Manchester. He served during the Great War with the Border Regiment in the French theatre of war from 22 April 1915. Baldwin was killed in action whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion on the Western Front, 16 May 1915. He was aged 18, and is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
