Canada General Service 1866-70, 1 clasp, Fenian Raid 1866 (No. 495 Colr. sergt. M. Flynn Rifle Bde.) Canadian style impressed naming, official correction to rank; Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., small letter reverse (495 C. Sergt. M. Flynn, 4th Rifle Bde.); Meritorious Service Medal, E.VII.R. (C. Sjt: M. Flynn. Rif: Bde:) mounted for display, light contact marks, otherwise very fine (3) £600-£700

M.S.M. awarded 22 June 1910 with Annuity of £10. In 1895 he was serving on the Volunteer Staff in Nottingham. He attended the King George V Veterans’ Coronation dinner in Nottingham in 1911, and died on 6 February 1916.
