John Camm was born in Willesden, Middlesex. He served during the Great War with the 1st Battalion, Middlesex Regiment in the French theatre of war from 5 September 1914. Camm was killed in action on the Western Front, 26 October 1914. On the latter date the Battalion War Diary records them as being in the trenches at La Boutillerie, and suffering casualties of 5 killed and 19 wounded.

Private Camm is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Hainaut, Belgium.

William Michael Victor Banbury was the son of Edward Banbury of 60 Eaton Place, London. He initially served during the Great War with the 4th Battalion, Rifle Brigade in the French theatre of war from 21 July 1915. Banbury transferred to the 16th Battalion, and it was whilst serving with them that he was killed in action on the Western Front, 17 August 1917. The Battalion War Diary gives casualties for the latter date of Banbury and 4 other ranks killed in action, and 17 other ranks wounded at Battle Wood.

Captain Banbury is buried in the Voormezeele Enclosures, Belgium.

Alfred Widlake was born in Weston-super-Mare, and resided at Ashcombe House Lodge, Milton Road, Weston-super-Mare. He served during the Great War with the 7th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry (entitled Great War pair), and was killed in action on the Western Front, 16 August 1917. On the latter date the Battalion was engaged as part of an attack on Langemarck.

Private Widlake is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

Walter Bishop was born in Frome, Somerset, and served with the 8th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry during the Great War. He was killed in action on the Western Front, 5 April 1918, and is buried in the Gommecourt British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France.
