Christopher Haddock was born in Mortlake, Surrey, and served during the Great War with the 7th (Service) Battalion, East Surrey Regiment in the French theatre of war from 1 June 1915 (entitled to 1914-15 Star). He was killed in action on the Western Front, 13 October 1916, and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
