India General Service 1854-95, 2 clasps, Burma 1889-92, Burma 1887-89 (1694 Corpl. H. Nossiter 2d. Bn. Leic. R.) clasps mounted in this order as usual, good very fine £180-£220

Henry Nossiter was born in Portsmouth in 1866 and attested for the Leicestershire Regiment at Aldershot on 20 March 1886, having previously served in the 3rd (Militia) Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. He served with the 2nd Battalion in India and Burma from 5 December 1887, and was promoted Corporal on 18 April 1889. He transferred to the East Kent Regiment on 30 September of that year, and saw further service with them in Burma, before he returned home on 6 February 1894. He transferred to the Army Reserve on 10 February 1894, and was discharged on 19 March 1898, after 12 years’ service.
