India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Burma 1885-7 (1252 Private R. Good 2nd. Bn. R.W. Surr R.) minor edge bruise, nearly extremely fine £100-£140

Richard Good was born in Bandon, Co. Cork, in 1862, and attested for the Royal West Surrey Regiment at Cork on 2 June 1885. He served with the 2nd Battalion in India and Burma from 8 October 1886, and was promoted Corporal on 5 August 1889. He was discharged on 12 August 1890, suffering bronchitis and tubercle of lungs, after 5 years and 71 days’ service.
