Robert Silcock entered the East Africa, Nyassaland and Northern Rhodesia theatre of war on 25 September 1914. His medal index card shows him as discharged but no date given and entitled to the Silver War Badge. Service in East Africa did not qualify for the 1914 Star.

Issac Ackers entered the Balkan theatre of war on 11 July 1915, was discharged on 18 December 1917, and is entitled to the Silver War Badge.
