William Regan was born at Werneth, Oldham, Lancashire, and enlisted at Bolton. He served in France from 5 May 1915 and was killed in action in France on 31 July 1917. He is buried in Hooge Crater Cemetery. Formerly served as 9659 Lancashire Fusiliers.
