Albert Hague was born in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, and attested there for the Manchester Regiment. He served with the 1st/9th Battalion during the Great War in the Gallipoli theatre of War from 9 May 1915, and died of wounds at Sea on on 20 June 1915. He is buried in East Mudros Military Cemetery, Greece.
