M.I.D. London Gazette 23 July 1937:

‘In recognition of distinguished services rendered in connection with operations in Palestine during the period, April - October, 1936.’

Owen McDonagh served with the 1st Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, died whilst on active service, 30 April 1943, aged 43 years. Private McDonagh is buried in Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia.
