Oliver Haynes landed in France with the 2nd Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment on 1 May 1915, and is entitled to the 1914-15 star. He was killed in action in Belgium on 11 March 1916, and is buried in Menin Road South Military Cemetery, Ypres. He was aged 26, son of William and Annie Haynes, of Sheffield, and husband of Ivy Haynes, of Sheffield.

George Edward Hibbard, Private, 2nd/5th Battalion, King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, was killed in action on 3 May 1917, aged 38, and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
