Exeter Episcopal School Cross, silver (hallmarks for Birmingham 1896), in the form of a four armed cross surmounting a wreath, with Queen’s crown at top, the obverse central medallion engraved ‘Ethel Morgon 1897’, in P. Vaughton & Sons, Birmingham, red leather case of issue, the lid similarly embossed ‘Ethel Morgon 1897.’, extremely fine £30-£40

Ethel Florence Morgon was born in Exeter in 1885, and attended the Exeter Episcopal School. She was awarded the Silver Cross for exceptional attendance in December 1897 (Devon and Exeter Gazette 22 December 1897 refers).
