Provenance: Whitehouse Collection 1869; Eaton Collection 1880; now sold by order of the son of the late Australian collector Edward Kennedy, a Gallipoli veteran who died in 1966.

Numerous men of this name are shown on the rolls but none for this Boat Service clasp. There is, however, one man who served as Captain of the Afterguard aboard Imperieuse at Basque Roads, and as a Gunner’s Mate aboard Granicus at Algiers.
