Nevis, Black Dogg, c. 1801 (value Threehalfpence), a seemingly genuine Cayenne 2 Sous, 1782a, obv. countermarked nevis raised within a shaped and framed rectangular indent, the quality of the countermark points to this being an official stamp, 1.75g/27.0gr (Prid. 5 [Sale, lot 263]; KM. –).
