Banque Nationale du Cambodge, a fascinating set of colour trials and specimens for 1000 Riels, ND (1972), with a slightly different reverse design than that on the note finally printed. The group consists of a transparent overlay with serial numbers and signatures, a colour trial, two specimens (stuck together), and a partial reverse showing an amended design, all taped together along the upper edge. The colour trial is annotated with various ‘approved’ notations in biro, and features two hand-written signatures.
