Boyne, W., Tokens issued in the Seventeenth, Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries in Yorkshire…also the Seals of all the Corporations in that County, Headingley, 1858, viii + 62pp, fully interleaved, engraved plates [with five additional plates of 17th century tokens] and illustrations in text, 16 plates of seals, portrait photograph of William Boyne by Huggon & Briggs, Leeds, probably c. 1870, pasted on fourth free endpaper (cf. Manville 404). Red cloth, front cover almost detached; Hamer’s working copy with notes and additions, inserted material includes a letter to Hamer from Josiah Wade, Mayor of Halifax, 5 June 1903, enclosing a copy of the town Seal, and printer’s pulls for the Making Place, Halifax, One Guinea banknote £200-300
