Signaller C. Brown, Royal Artillery

in original addressed card forwarding box, extremely fine (4) £15-20

Colin Brown, who was born in February 1923 and came from Darkington, Co. Durham, enlisted in the Royal Artillery in January 1942. Originally appointed a Driver, he went on to qualify as a Signaller in July of the same year. Brown saw active service with the 1st Army in North Africa from January until May 1943, and afterwards in Italy, and was discharged during the course of 1946.

Sold with the recipient’s original Soldier’s Service and Pay Book.
