Atlantic Star, clasp, France and Germany; Africa Star; War Medal 1939-45; R.N.V.R. Decoration, E.II.R., reverse dated, ‘1960’; R.N.V.R. L.S.& G.C., G.VI.R. 2nd type (Lieut., R.N.V.R.), good very fine and better (6) £200-250

Sold with the recipient’s original commission documents as Temporary Sub-Lieutenant in the R.N.V.R. dated 1942 and Lieutenant-Commander in the R.N.R. dated 1958; also with a coloured certificate commemorating his crossing the equator dated 1940. With modern photographs of the battleship H.M.S. Royal Sovereign and destroyer H.M.S. Westcott.
