Three: Staff Sergeant B. Welensky, Rhodesian Corps of Engineers, late Southern Rhodesia Military Force and ‘C’ Squadron, 22 S.A.S.

Rhodesia General Service (1124 S. Sgt.); Rhodesia Exemplary Service Medal (1124 S. Sgt.); General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Malaya (S.R. 1094 Pte., S. Rhod. Mil. F.), this last with second initial ‘M.’, mounted as worn, one or two edge bruises, generally good very fine (3) £180-220

B. M. “Benny” Welensky is verified as being one of the 100-strong Rhodesian ‘C’ Squadron, 22 S.A.S in the Malaya operations. Afterwards he became a regular N.C.O. in the Rhodesian Corps of Engineers.
