1914-15 Star (Lieut., York. R.); British War and Victory Medals (Lieut.) nearly extremely fine (3) £300-350

James Richard Anderton Rigby was killed in action on 26 September 1915, when he was shot by a sniper in Breslau Trench, Hulloch, whilst serving with the 3rd Battalion, attached 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, France. Sold with further copied research detail.
