Philip Reginald Samuel Pool was born in 1894 at Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire and enlisted as a Band Boy with the Royal Marines Band Service at the Royal Naval School at Eastney in 1910. In the Great War, he was present at the battle of Jutland, serving aboard the armoured cruiser H.M.S. Minotaur. He was discharged dead in 1926. Sold with copied service paper.
