Three: Musician W. Kent, Royal Marines Band

1914-15 Star (R.M.B. 747 Mus.); British War and Victory Medals (R.M.B. 747 Mus.) minor contact marks, very fine and better (3) £50-60

William Kent was born in 1887 at Fulham, London. A Band Boy in the Royal Navy, he transferred to the Royal Marines Band Service in 1904, his instument specialities being the cornet and violin. During the Great War he was present at the battle of Jutland, serving on the battleship H.M.S. Thunderer. Sold with copied service paper.
