Calcutta Light Horse an officer’s navy blue mess jacket the stand-up collar and cuffs with white facings the edges and cuffs trimmed with silver lace cord decoration, silver lace trefoil decoration to the dummy pockets, broad silver lace shoulder cords with two gold Bath star rank insignia, a paper trade label in the lining of the inside pocket is that of Harman & Co Calcutta & Rangoon and is named to ‘Capt J. A. H. Jackson’; the waistcoat of light weight cream coloured wool cloth silver teat buttons to the front and silver lace decoration to the collar, pockets and front; an associated pair of navy blue cloth overalls these with a single broad stripe of English Lord Lieutenants silver lace to the sides, extremely fine overall condition (3) £100-150
