A Scarce Indian Mail and Fabric Armour, the whole of fine steel, brass and copper butted mail forming a pattern, mounted onto padded fabric, comprising of protection for the torso, designed to wrap around the body and lace up at the back; shoulder and neck protection, reinforced with iron plates within the fabric, the edge decorated with attached vandykes of mail; a pair of upper arm defences and a pair of forearm and hand defences, minor wear and damage overall, some fastenings replaced and one lower arm defence possibly associated, otherwise good condition for age and a rare survival of Indian fabric armour £600-800
