Conspicuous Gallantry Medal, an interesting contemporary replacement medal, adapted from a Victorian Meritorious Service Medal, the words ‘Meritorious Service’ erased and re-engraved ‘Conspicuous Gallantry’, fitted with straight bar suspension, contemporary engraved naming, not renamed (Danl. Drady, Pte. R.M.L.I., H.M.S. Cleopatra) contact wear, otherwise nearly very fine £150-200

Private Daniel Drady won the Conspicuous Gallantry Medal at Tamaai on 13 March 1884.
