Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (Walter Glover, Sergt. Major, 3rd Co. R.M.L.I.), engraved naming, minor edge bruising, good very fine £40-50

Walter Glover was born in the Parish of Saint Mary’s near Leicester and attested for the Royal Marines in 1855 aged 18 years. He attained the rank of Sergeant-Major in 1873. Glover was awarded the Naval L.S.& G.C. in 1876 and was discharged that same year having completed 21 years of service. Sold with copied service papers.
