Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 6 clasps, Cape Colony, Talana, Tugela Heights, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal (5305 Pte. P. Furlong, Rl. Dublin Fus.) nearly extremely fine £250-300

Private P. Furlong served with the 2nd Battalion and was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal London Gazette 31 October 1902, for services in South Africa. He embarked with the regiment for Aden and died there of heat apoplexy on 29 March 1902.
