India General Service 1895-1902, 1 clasp, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 (3894 Pte. W. Bradford, 1st Bn. Som. Lt. Infy.), official correction to initial; sold with three associated Temperence medals: A.T.A.I.1; A.T.A.I.2; S.T.A.2, good very fine (4) £80-100

Sold with two photographs of the recipient, on one he is wearing all four medals; also with copied service papers.

William Bradford was born in Bridgewater, Somerset. A farm labourer by trade, he attested to the Somerset Light Infantry in November 1892. He served with the regiment in India and was discharged as medically unfit for further service in 1902.
