Mauritius Police Medal London Gazette 15 June 1979. In the period 1968-91, when Mauritius was still an independent state within the Commonwealth it had its own awards peculiar to itself, but still bearing the head of the Queen. In this period there were a total of 98 awards of the Mauritius Police Medal.

Sooadick Ameer Maudarbocus was also awarded the British Empire Medal (Civil)
London Gazette 9 June 1955, and the Colonial Police L.S. & G.C. Mauritius Gazette 9 August 1958. Sold with some research.
