Andrew Hogg, who enlisted in the 6th Gordons at Huntly, died of wounds received at Iringa in German East Africa on 7 November 1917, while attached to the King’s African Rifles. One of just eight Gordons to die in this theatre of war, he was buried in Iringa Cemetery, Tanzania.
