Waterloo 1815 (Captain Auhagen, 2nd Reg. Light Drag. K.G.L.) fitted with original steel clip and later ring suspension, light contact marks, otherwise good very fine £1800-2200

Ex Gaskill 1905 and Payne Collection 1911.

Conrad George Wilhelm Auhagen joined the Legion as Lieutenant and Adjutant on 29 December 1805, becoming Captain on 9 May 1810. He served in the Netherlands 1814-15, and was present at the battle of Waterloo. He died on 21 January 1828 at Lemie, Amt Wenningsen, in Hannover, as a Major by brevet on the retired list.
