A Highland Officer’s Pre-1847 Pattern Feather Bonnet, approximately 11 inches in height and with four tails, black silk rosette to the rear, the 5 cm woollen dicing in red white and green, buff velvet edging to the red moroccan sweat band, attached black linen lining with retailer’s details ‘Marshall & Aitken, Edinburgh’, original black leather chin strap and black patent leather rear bracing band. No badge but provision for a red cut feather hackle, good condition for age £400-£600
