Eton College Volunteer Rifle Corps Cadet’s Grey Cloth Helmet c. 1878 - 1914, a fine quality example, the distinctive coloured cloth skull complete with all white metal fittings and chin chain, buff leather sweat band, green cloth front and rear peak linings, the frontal plate appears to be the second plate fitted, together with an associated black metal carrying tin supplied by J. Walls, Tailor, Eton and stencilled ‘R.H.S’, very good condition £200-£300
