Alfred Maile was born in the Parish of St George’s, London, and attested for the Army Service Corps at Westminster on 23 November 1870. Although he served abroad in Egypt from 25 June 1884 to 19 May 1887, he did not participate in any campaigns to qualify for a medal. He was discharged on 23 November 1891. Sold with copied discharge papers which confirm L.S. & G.C. medal.
