Pair: Attributed to Gunner G. F. W. Habbishaw, 59 Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery, who was killed when an enemy bomb was dropped on his searchlight sight at Lyndon End, Coventry, on 19 November 1940

George Frederick William Habbishaw, a native of Coventry, was born in 1911 and served during the Second World War in 399 Battery, 59 Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery. He was one of two men killed/died of wounds when his searchlight sight at Lyndon End, Coventry, was bombed during a minor German attack on the city; a further three men were wounded. Habbishaw is buried under a C.W.G.C. headstone in Coventry (London Road) Cemetery.
