Giles, 1 Banchory Cotts, Lansdown Road, Chalfont St. Peter, Bucks’; together with the recipient’s Silver War Badge, the reverse officially numbered ‘B99302’, extremely fine

British War and Victory Medals (GS-52354 Pte. W. H. Hart. R. Fus.); Special Constabulary Long Service Medal, G.VI.R., 1st issue (William H Hart) mounted as worn, good very fine (6) £80-£120

John W. Giles served during the Great War in the Royal Army Medical Corps and Middlesex Regiment, and was discharged on 22 January 1919, whilst serving in No. 532 Company, Labour Corps.

Sold with the recipient’s Certificate of issue for the Silver War Badge; and large Certificate of Discharge.
