T. A. Thorpe. Glouc: Regt.) pawn broker’s marks to both obverse fields, minor edge nicks to QSA, nearly extremely fine (2) £140-£180

T. A. Thorpe served with the 2nd Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment in South Africa during the Boer War, and was taken Prisoner of War at Dewetsdorp on 23 November 1900, being released on 5 December 1900.
