Territorial Force War Medal 1914-19 (1160 Spr. R. H. Walke. R.E.) very fine £80-£120

Reginald Heathershire Walke was born in Newton Abbot, Devon, in 1895, and attested for the 5 Devon Fortress Company, Royal Engineers (Territorial Forces) at Plymouth on 30 June 1914. He proceeded to Gibraltar on 10 April 1915, where he served as a Telephonist throughout the remainder of the Great War until 7 August 1919, and was demobilized on 10 October of that year.
