Edward Barrett was born on 2 October 1845, and joined the Bengal Ordnance Department as a Sub-Conductor on probation, 9 October 1879; Conductor, 24 August 1882; retired to Pension Establishment to England, 26 February 1892. Sold with confirmation of Afghanistan medal.
