Joseph Bowles served with the 3rd Battalion, 95th Foot in Captain W. Eele’s Company during the Waterloo Campaign, 16-18 June 1815.

Only two Companies of the 3rd Battalion, 95th Foot were present during the Battle, making it the smallest British infantry unit present at Waterloo.
