Albert John Taylor was born on 10 October 1908, and attested for the Royal Army Service Corps on 6 March 1941. He served with the R.A.S.C. in North Africa from 18 December 1942, and subsequently in Italy, and was promoted Corporal on 21 November 1944. Mentioned in Despatches, he returned to the U.K. on 20 December 1945, and transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 23 March 1946.

Sold together with the recipient’s M.I.D. Certificate, dated 21 June 1945, in O.H.M.S. envelope, and copied service papers.
